This specifies the ID of the color table you want to apply. By default, COLOR replaces the effects of any previous COLOR or SCENE command, and applies only to actors, players and monsters. By adding 1000 to the color table ID, you can stack the effect rather than replacing it. By adding 2000 to the color table ID, you can have the effect apply to the background, but NOT to actors, players or monsters. Background effects always stack.
COLOR 0 returns players, Actors and monsters to their original coloration. COLOR 2000 returns the background to its original appearance.
COLOR does not override the color table set in ACTOR commands or the Monster table.
